5/3/2023 0 Comments Usb dongle via rdp![]() Not sure if this will enable dongle but you can access local USB on your VM. Then select 'More.' Check 'Drives' box and you're good to go. When connecting via RDP, go to 'Local Resources'. The USB dongle does, however, show up in the device manager when connected remotely. Both work via Meraki's built-in remote connection but neither work using Remote Desktop. Also, an update: one dongle is USB and the other license dongle is serial. The USB device appears as if it was directly attached even though it is plugged in to a remote server, therefore all existing. ![]() This USB server solution is perfect for allowing USB devices to be used remotely over a LAN network, over the Internet, or in the Cloud without the USB device needing to be physically attached to remote client machine.
